Richard and Victoria welcome you
to their comfortable and charming Chambre d’Hôtes, Belle Vallée,
located in the medieval town of Domfront (61) in the heart of beautiful
Basse Normandy.
We
offer five nights full
board, from Sunday evening to Friday evening or three nights full board
from Thursday evening to Sunday afternoon. The course includes
friendly and relaxed meals, conducted in French, as part of your
immersion experience. Delicious local food and French wine are served
to compliment your stay in excellent en-suite accommodation.
If you live in the area, non
residential courses are also possible including lessons from 9 to 5 and
lunches at Belle Vallée.

Lessons
Lessons are held from Monday to
Friday at Belle Vallée, an ideal place to study in relaxed
and comfortable surroundings.
The groups are always kept small (no more than 8 people) so that each
student can receive the maximum attention and have the opportunity to
express him/herself.
Gaëlle, your French native tutor and guide, is available
throughout the day from 8.30am to 5pm. She is always patient,
supportive and enthusiastic. Normandy French Tuition has developed a
special and intensive program combining language, culture and art de
vivre.
Each student will receive a pre-course questionnaire in addition to an
assessment test at the beginning of the course and a summary review
before the departure.
Mornings are spent in lessons from 9am to 1pm with a tea or coffee
break around 11am. We cover a wide range of French grammar,
pronunciation, comprehension and conversation topics.
After a convivial lunch, you can feel free to rest or to go for a
stroll around the lake or in the lovely gardens.
Afternoons are flexible and provide an opportunity to discover French
culture and to apply your newly acquired conversation skills. Every
afternoon, a cultural and interesting activity will be offered from 3
to 4.30pm such as : French cooking, Norman product
tastings, conversation workshops (role-play about real life), games...
We also offer many local
visits : Cider and Calvados maker, the Lonlay l'Abbaye Biscuiterie,
Bagnoles-de-l'Orne spa town, the medieval town of Domfront, the local
markets. It is a good opportunity to discover Lower Normandy.
For a small additional cost, you can also have extra one to one lessons
with your tutor from 2 to 3pm.
Please, note that your time is free outside lesson and meal
times. Moreover, you will be responsible for your travel to and from
Belle Vallée.

INDIVIDUAL
FRENCH
INTENSIVE COURSES
If
you haven’t got time to attend regular lessons and you need
to give a real boost to your French quickly, this course is for you.
Normandy French Tuition offers you one to one intensive lessons for
several hours a day over several days. You will decide, together with
your personal tutor, a personalized program tailored to your needs and
level. The course can include grammar, conversation, pronunciation,
real life simulations, lunches conducted in French, outings and various
activities.
This course is the most flexible, personalized and intensive way of
learning French quickly. You can choose the dates, the duration, the
pace and the topics (contents) to suit you.
If
you need local accommodation, Normandy French Tuition can recommend
several comfortable hotels and chambres d'hôtes to you. We'll be happy
to make the booking for you.
Intensive
courses need to be booked at least 1 month in advance.
